Cemedi acted as the hosting organization for a project within the Leonardo da Vinci programme, that the Chamber of Ioannina from Greece organized from 12/11/2012 to 25/11/2012. In the project entitled: WASTE MANAGEMENT OF SLAUGHTERHOUSES AND BUTCHERIES, 20 members of the Chamber of Ioannina participated. The participants are active in the in the meat industry. During their stay in Spain, participants had the opportunity to see in practice the application of different techniques and the chance to compare their own practices and draw conclusions about their work. Part of the program were the technical visits to businesses, organizations and educational institutions from the meat industries.
In-service training is education for employees to help them develop their skills in a specific discipline or occupation. In-service training takes place after an individual begins work responsibilities. Most typically, in-service training is conducted during a break in the individual's work schedule. A staff member of CEMEDI participated in a in-training service visit regarding the training of managers in management and organization of EU funded projects
